Conscious Manifestation: PresenceOver Ego-Driven Action

Eckhart Tolle
Eckhart Tolle
Jun 20, 2020
11 min read
Conscious manifestation is not primarily about using willpower or visualization to attract things—it is about aligning your state of consciousness with the present moment so that your actions arise from awareness rather than unconscious ego patterns. Eckhart Tolle explains that the foundation for any meaningful manifestation is to first develop present-moment awareness through sensory attention, then deepen that into awareness of yourself as consciousness itself. From this foundation, your interactions, decisions, and engagement with the world become naturally more effective and beneficial because they are no longer driven by the reactive mental patterns (the "ego") that most people unconsciously identify with. He emphasizes that self-knowledge—the direct realization of your own conscious presence—is harder and more vital than any external achievement.

What Is Present-Moment Awareness and Why Does It Matter?

The first step in conscious manifestation is to anchor yourself in what Tolle calls the present moment. He begins by explaining that this is often misunderstood. The present moment is not a concept or a time zone—it is a direct experience accessible right now. He offers a practical entry point: become aware of what surrounds you through your senses.

Look at the room you are in. Listen to the sounds. Notice light, texture, the aliveness of a plant or view outside. This sensory awareness naturally interrupts the constant mental commentary that occupies most people's minds—the inner voice that "speaks and speaks," that "comments and interprets and takes positions," that "identifies with likes [and] dislikes [and] never stops talking." By shifting attention from this internal noise to direct sensory perception, something shifts. Mental noise quiets. A baseline of peace appears.

Tolle notes that natural objects—trees, plants, flowers, the sky—invite present-moment awareness more readily than human-made things. This is not mystical; it is practical. When you attend to something alive and organic, you cannot simultaneously narrate it through the filter of memory and judgment. Presence happens naturally.

How Do You Become Aware of Yourself as Consciousness?

Beyond sensory awareness lies a deeper layer: awareness of yourself as a conscious presence. This is where self-knowledge begins, and Tolle emphasizes that this step is often confused with self-reflection or introspection about your past.

He clarifies the distinction: becoming aware of yourself does not mean thinking about your life story, your memories, your future plans, your identity, or your problems. All of that is thought—mental narrative. True self-awareness is simpler and more fundamental. It is the direct recognition that you are here, conscious, present, aware. Even if you stripped away every memory, every identity marker, every belief about who you are, something would remain: the sheer fact of awareness itself, what Tolle calls "the i-am-ness of yourself."

When you rest attention on this inner presence—not as a concept but as a felt reality—a spacious awareness opens up. It is not the stillness of sleep or fatigue. It is an "alert stillness," a watchfulness that is simultaneously relaxed. This is the core of present-moment awareness. And this, Tolle suggests, is where spiritual awakening begins: with a glimpse of something deeper in you than the person with its history, its conditioning, its narrative identity.

What Is the Ego and How Does It Block Manifestation?

In Tolle's teaching, the ego is not a psychological term for narcissism or selfishness—it is the entire structure of mental and emotional conditioning through which most people derive their sense of self. It is "the conditioning of your mental emotional field, all the things you identify with" and mistake for who you are.

He explains that the mind produces thought-forms, "energy formations that are invisible." These exist in two layers: partly personal (shaped by your history and family environment) and partly collective (shaped by the cultural and mass consciousness around you). Most people, lacking awareness of any dimension beyond these thought-forms, are "literally possessed" by them. They do not realize that their reactions, anxieties, judgments, and desires are not their authentic response but rather the activation of conditioned patterns moving through them.

Tolle offers a stark example: when humans engage in violent mass movements or collective harm, they are not thinking clearly or choosing freely—they are "literally possessed by these energy formations that have taken possession of them and they don't even know it." The thought-forms have agency, not the person. In ordinary life, the same possession happens at smaller scales: a moment of shame, a reactive outburst, a repeating anxiety all emerge not from your conscious choice but from the activation of unconscious patterns.

Because these patterns are shaped by your environment and past, you have no real freedom when operating from ego-identification. You are "at the mercy" of them. This is why manifesting from the ego—trying to attract what you want while still identified with reactive patterns—tends to replicate the same problems. You may acquire external things, but your internal state remains stuck in the same unconscious loops.

How Does Self-Knowledge Create Authentic Manifestation?

Once you have glimpsed yourself as consciousness—as an aware presence distinct from the narrative mind—a fundamental shift occurs. You are no longer exclusively identified with the ego. You can observe your patterns without being consumed by them. This is what Tolle means by saying that awareness of your true nature "frees you from what we call the ego."

From this liberated place, you "can operate in this world in a much more effective way and in a way that is much more beneficial for yourself and humanity." Actions no longer arise from compulsive reaction or egoic grasping. They arise from a deeper ground of consciousness. This is the actual foundation of conscious manifestation: not the power of thought or visualization, but the alignment of your being with your doing.

Tolle emphasizes that this is where the "Being dimension of conscious manifestation" enters. Most people understand manifestation as an ego project: I want something, I visualize it, I work for it. But if your fundamental sense of self is still ego-derived, then even your "manifesting" is unconscious. You may achieve external goals while remaining internally unfulfilled. As he says plainly: "the ultimate source of satisfaction in life is to recognize yourself as consciousness. If you miss that, then no matter what you achieve in life, it is not going to make you happy for very long."

What Role Does Your Consciousness Play in Shaping Your World?

Tolle repeatedly returns to a single principle: whatever world you experience, you experience it through yourself. You are the medium through which reality is registered and responded to. Therefore, whatever you manifest—your relationships, your circumstances, your opportunities—you manifest through yourself.

This has immediate, practical implications. If you are unconscious, your consciousness (or lack thereof) broadcasts itself to everyone around you. Your relationships will reflect your internal state. If you are reactive, those around you will feel that reactivity. If you are anxious, others sense that anxiety. If you bring "more loving kindness and compassion" to your surroundings, people respond to that as well. Your level of presence is not hidden; it ripples outward continuously.

This is why Tolle suggests that the most direct way to change your world is to change your state of consciousness. You do not do this by grinding away at self-improvement projects or fighting with others. You do it by repeatedly returning to present-moment awareness, to the alert stillness that underlies thought, to the recognition of yourself as consciousness. Each time you do this—even for a few moments—you weaken the automatic grip of ego patterns. You create space for a different possibility. And from that space, your words, choices, and presence naturally become more wise, more compassionate, more aligned with what is actually needed.

How Can You Manifest More Presence in Daily Life?

Tolle offers concrete guidance for anchoring present-moment awareness in ordinary life. Before starting any new activity—a work task, a difficult conversation, a social interaction—pause and take a moment of awareness. This simple gesture is vital because it interrupts the automatic tendency to act from the conditioned mind.

As you go about your day—speaking with people, interacting on social media, engaging in activities—repeatedly reconnect with what he calls "alert still presence." These moments do not need to be long or elaborate. A few seconds of sensory awareness, or a brief recognition of your own conscious presence, reestablishes your foundation. And this is what "spiritual awakening" means: not a dramatic peak experience, but the gradual, reliable return to awareness of yourself as consciousness rather than as the narrative that your mind produces about you.

Tolle also points out that this practice of presence includes compassion for others. Many people are deeply trapped in their own unconscious patterns, especially those shaped by family conditioning or collective mass-consciousness. To judge them or expect them to "wake up" on your timeline is to remain partially trapped in your own ego reactivity. Instead, you can be present with people as they are while simultaneously modeling a different way of being—one rooted in consciousness rather than in reactive ego.

What Is the Difference Between Knowledge About Yourself and Self-Knowledge?

Tolle makes a critical distinction: self-knowledge is different from knowledge about yourself. You can think extensively about your personality, your history, your patterns, your flaws, and still not have self-knowledge. All of that thinking is still occurring within the ego structure—it is the ego reflecting on itself, which changes nothing.

True self-knowledge is a direct realization. It is not intellectual. It is the simple, immediate recognition that you are conscious, that awareness is happening, that there is a presence here that is prior to all the narratives about who you are. This is why Tolle emphasizes that it is irreplaceable: "self-knowledge is the most difficult" thing because it cannot be acquired through effort or learning in the conventional sense. It must be directly realized. Yet it is also the most valuable because it undercuts the entire structure of ego-derived identity at its root.

How Does Consciousness Relate to Manifestation and Fulfillment?

Throughout the talk, Tolle circles back to one truth: manifestation divorced from consciousness is empty. You can attain objects, status, relationships, and achievements while remaining internally empty, anxious, or reactive. The modern world is full of such people—externally successful but internally unfulfilled.

The antidote is to go within. "By going within," Tolle says, "because you recognize that you are not separate from the universe by going within because you recognize that the universe by going within because you recognize the consciousness of the universe has become aware of its true nature the earth then you are opening yourself to experiencing the fullness of life but above all do not neglect the dimension of who you are you all you all you all."

In other words, conscious manifestation means recognizing that the consciousness expressing through you is not personal or separate—it is the consciousness of existence itself temporarily aware of itself through your particular form. When you realize this, you are no longer trying to manifest for a small, separate self. You are aligning your energy and actions with the creative force of existence itself. From that ground, what needs to manifest does so naturally, and what manifests serves not just you but all beings.

Where to go from here

The path forward is both simple and profound: begin with sensory awareness. Take a moment right now to notice what surrounds you. Then, gently shift awareness to the conscious presence that is aware—the fact of awareness itself, independent of content. Hold that for a few moments. Notice how your mind quiets. Notice how a different quality of aliveness emerges.

Then, as you move through your day, practice returning to this. Not constantly—that would create tension. But as a touchstone: before important interactions, during moments of stress, when you notice you have been caught in thought-loops, gently reconnect with presence. Do this without judgment, without trying to achieve anything. Just come back.

Over time, these moments accumulate. Your baseline of consciousness naturally rises. Your responses become less reactive. Your presence becomes a gift to those around you. And from this foundation, anything you create or manifest arises from alignment rather than from desperation or egoic grasping. This is conscious manifestation: the marriage of doing and being, of action and awareness, of individual expression and universal consciousness.

[0:06] welcome all of you on YouTube Facebook

[0:11] live for the first time we've had a few

[0:18] technical difficulties so I'm a little

[0:21] bit late that was a great opportunity

[0:24] for course for you to be present in the

[0:30] moment and let's continue that before we

[0:35] start and perhaps look at few questions

[0:38] concerning conscious manifestation let's

[0:45] just take a moment become aware of the

[0:53] present moment vitally important in any

[0:58] endeavor that you undertake no matter

[1:05] what it is is not to lose your

[1:11] connectedness with the present moment so

[1:22] before you start a new enterprise a new

[1:26] activity always go to take a moment for

[1:31] awareness basically that's what it is

[1:35] the sometimes people ask well what is

[1:40] the present moment how how do you be

[1:43] where is it what does it even mean to

[1:45] become aware of the present moment and

[1:49] the first thing of course is that you

[1:54] become aware of whatever surrounds you

[1:57] that's the entry point into the present

[2:00] moment a very easy entry point into a

[2:04] present moment awareness some people may

[2:07] call it mindfulness is to become more

[2:12] aware of

[2:13] whatever surrounds you here now sense

[2:19] perceptions just be with what is give it

[2:23] attention some attention the room you're

[2:28] sitting in maybe there's a window you

[2:32] can look out of the window you can see

[2:37] trees behind me I can't see them I know

[2:39] they are there this is you enter the

[2:45] present moment by becoming more aware of

[2:51] sense perceptions auditory visual and

[2:55] perhaps others and of course what that

[3:01] does you might notice is there's less

[3:07] mental noise the voice in the head that

[3:11] speaks and speaks that talks to you that

[3:17] you have a dialogue with a monologue

[3:20] that comments and interprets and takes

[3:26] positions mental positions that

[3:29] identifies with likes dislikes never

[3:35] stops talking that's the mind the the

[3:40] voice in the head that most people are

[3:42] completely identified with and that

[3:44] means they are not present so the first

[3:46] step is take some attention away from

[3:50] that by simply becoming aware of sense

[3:53] perceptions and if you can look at

[3:59] something natural that's even better

[4:01] because the natural thing a tree a

[4:05] flower a plant the sky a natural thing

[4:11] lends itself to a present moment

[4:17] awareness more than a man-made

[4:19] human-made thing so anything natural

[4:22] that you can look at for a moment focus

[4:25] on

[4:26] and give it attention acknowledge it you

[4:33] don't need to think about it so it's

[4:36] just come away of the present moment

[4:39] through sensory perception and already

[4:42] if you can't do that if perhaps a few

[4:46] minutes before you were very much

[4:48] immersed in the problem making mind it

[4:53] wasn't actually solving any problem

[4:55] because this continuous mind activity

[4:59] actually creates more problem than it

[5:01] solves

[5:03] if it's not focused it's unconscious so

[5:09] already

[5:09] suddenly there's a certain amount of

[5:12] peace that descends from this is the

[5:14] world your world it becomes a bit more

[5:18] peaceful you become aware of the

[5:21] aliveness of things and then the next

[5:26] step for present moment awareness yes

[5:31] you become aware of yourself now that's

[5:37] very important too because let's see

[5:40] foundation for the entire world whatever

[5:43] the world that you experience you

[5:46] experience it through yourself so and

[5:51] whatever you manifest in this world you

[5:54] manifest through yourself now what does

[5:58] it mean to become aware of yourself no

[6:03] you might be tempted to think that's you

[6:08] start thinking about your life you and

[6:11] your life and of course that's very

[6:16] problematic your past your future or you

[6:20] can think about things that you identify

[6:22] ways the huge problems the world is

[6:25] facing but that's not becoming aware of

[6:32] yourself becoming aware of yourself is

[6:35] something more vital something deeper

[6:39] then

[6:40] aware of your historical self all your

[6:45] memories all your expectations for the

[6:48] future none of that is really becoming

[6:51] aware of yourself because those are

[6:53] thoughts you become aware of the simple

[6:58] fact that you are here as a conscious

[7:04] presence that's very much inextricably

[7:11] linked with what we call the present

[7:13] moment now this may seem strange at

[7:17] first you becoming aware of yourself as

[7:19] a conscious presence no need to remember

[7:24] who you are beyond the fact that you are

[7:29] becoming aware of the i am-ness of

[7:32] yourself for those of you who haven't

[7:40] never heard of this it might seem a

[7:42] little strange become aware that even if

[7:48] you do not remember your past at all

[7:51] you're who you are as a historical

[7:54] person what is left of you if you do not

[7:57] remember who you eyes or historical

[8:00] person if you don't think about yourself

[8:07] what's left is a certain inner

[8:10] spaciousness opens up that replaces the

[8:15] usual activity of continuous mental

[8:18] noise thinking a spacious awareness

[8:23] opens up and you cannot say much about

[8:30] it

[8:31] you can't analyze it you simply be aware

[8:35] that you are that there is a presence

[8:40] that is inseparable from who you are

[8:44] either sort or stillness there that's

[8:47] part of that presence but it's not an

[8:50] asleep stillness it's not the stillness

[8:52] that you find when did we

[8:53] getting tired it's an alert stillness

[9:01] and that is the core of what we call

[9:08] present moment awareness so you're not

[9:14] really aware of the present moment

[9:16] because the awareness is the present

[9:20] moment

[9:22] beyond sense perceptions that was a

[9:25] starting point and then you go deeper

[9:29] and you simply become aware of yourself

[9:32] as consciousness a still alert presence

[9:50] there's a lot more one could say about

[9:53] it but this is just our starting point

[9:56] for today

[9:58] the important thing is once you have had

[10:04] even a glimpse of it as much as possible

[10:11] reconnect with that as you go about your

[10:15] daily life as you are engaged in

[10:19] activities as you speak to people

[10:23] interact with people as you interact

[10:26] with people on media social media etc as

[10:32] much as possible reconnect and have find

[10:37] these moments of alert stillness alert

[10:42] still presents and that becomes then the

[10:48] foundation for everything you do and

[10:54] that's that another word for that is

[10:57] spiritual awakening youth now you're

[11:01] spiritually awakened begins with little

[11:04] just just a glimpse of awareness

[11:07] of yourself that the awareness that

[11:10] there's something deep in you then the

[11:14] person with its history that awareness

[11:19] is a direct realization it is not

[11:22] something that is conceptual that frees

[11:30] you from what we call the ego which is

[11:36] all the conditioning of your mental

[11:39] emotional field all the things you

[11:43] identify with and then you derive your

[11:47] sense of who you are from a deeper place

[11:49] within and that's an enormous liberation

[11:54] and then you can operate in this world

[11:57] in a much more effective way and you can

[12:01] operate in this world in a way that is

[12:05] much more beneficial for yourself and

[12:10] humanity you can then profit from that

[12:16] foundation we can talk about

[12:20] manifestation if you manifest from that

[12:24] foundation rather than manifest from the

[12:29] usual sense of identity that is

[12:33] exclusively derived from the ego which

[12:38] is the thinking mind the narrative that

[12:43] most people identify with as me that's

[12:47] me and the narrative of me is partly

[12:51] personal and partly collective these are

[12:57] energy streams that let what we call

[13:01] thought our energy formations that are

[13:05] invisible and these energy formations

[13:09] are like could be compared to ripples on

[13:15] the surface of being that's the thought

[13:18] activity

[13:20] and humans who have no awareness of this

[13:25] deeper dimension they are trapped on the

[13:29] level of the surface level of the

[13:35] movement of energy forms that we call

[13:39] thoughts and emotions

[13:42] so that's your mind is and whatever

[13:46] happens in your mind is conditioned by

[13:48] your surroundings and by your past

[13:51] so-called past so humans are literally

[13:55] possessed in the absence of awareness

[13:58] they are literally possessed by the

[14:02] thought forms that go through their mind

[14:04] and so they can they're partly as I say

[14:09] partly personal partly collective and

[14:13] sometimes they are relatively harmless

[14:15] and at other times they can be like a

[14:19] viral infection on a mental level and

[14:23] you don't even know what's happening to

[14:25] you when violent mass movements happen

[14:33] human unconsciousness expressing itself

[14:36] collectively through violence that means

[14:42] humans are at the mercy completely

[14:44] possessed by these energy formations

[14:48] that have taken possession of them and

[14:55] they don't even know it

[14:58] sometimes you know it in some you

[15:03] perhaps oh no perhaps even from your own

[15:06] experience

[15:07] now sometimes one sort can take

[15:09] possession of your mind and it refuses

[15:13] to go away and it proliferate it creates

[15:16] other related thoughts in your mind and

[15:18] you suddenly become obsessive with

[15:20] something and some people live like that

[15:24] they have their in possessed by one

[15:28] particular mind form and the interpret

[15:31] the entire world through the screen

[15:33] off that mind phone and everything

[15:35] suddenly they have an explanation for

[15:37] everything because everything is

[15:38] interpreted through that screen

[15:39] sometimes it's a mental illness it gets

[15:42] close to mental illness but you have 12

[15:44] you're paranoid and so on then everybody

[15:47] suddenly becomes your enemy so you free

[15:51] yourself from that ultimately without

[15:56] awareness thinking can even good things

[16:01] in your mind can very quickly turn

[16:05] become amplified and turn it into

[16:09] something very unconscious and

[16:10] destructive so always returning to that

[16:17] deeper dimension let's start with the

[16:21] first question let's see when it comes

[16:41] to conscious manifestation my interest

[16:44] at this point is not in manifesting

[16:47] anything for myself personally but in

[16:50] wanting to help manifest a world that is

[16:53] more peaceful and just for everyone can

[16:58] how you teach conscious manifestation

[17:00] help with that good question

[17:10] relevant manifesting a world there is

[17:19] more just I think that was the word they

[17:25] were more peaceful and just for everyone

[17:30] well that would be a it's a good aim

[17:42] now ultimately of course what you

[17:47] experience as the world is intrinsically

[17:51] one with your consciousness the only

[17:57] place where you experience the world is

[18:01] in your consciousness philosophers have

[18:06] even questioned whether there actually

[18:11] is a world out there independent of

[18:17] conscious perception we don't need to go

[18:21] there but there's no doubt that the

[18:26] entire world happens inside you one

[18:28] could say you don't know what you see

[18:33] what the eyes transmit the senses

[18:40] transmit comes nerve impulses that are

[18:42] sent to the brain and that's just on the

[18:46] physical level and then these nerve

[18:48] impulses are decoded and then some kind

[18:52] of words and appears within you but what

[18:56] is what to what extent that corresponds

[18:58] to a world out there we don't even know

[19:01] so to change the world to you so you

[19:08] look at the world to some in some way

[19:13] you could all say go as far as to say

[19:16] what you're actually looking at is a

[19:18] reflection in the external in the world

[19:21] of form of your state of consciousness I

[19:26] could say it's an interesting way to

[19:30] look at it and the state of

[19:32] consciousness is partly your is your

[19:35] personal world and there's a collective

[19:38] bird so the true they are connected but

[19:44] they're not the same because first of

[19:47] all days what you experience as a world

[19:50] in your personal life

[19:52] all the people you habitually

[19:55] interact with where you live your

[19:57] surroundings

[19:58] it starts with simple things like even

[20:00] the objects that surround you habitually

[20:03] where you live

[20:04] so the your world is your your

[20:07] personhood your relationships with

[20:09] humans that you live with your

[20:13] relationships with other units that you

[20:15] meet everyday casually that the where

[20:22] you work the people you work with so all

[20:24] these things your personal life

[20:27] so-called life is one sphere that you

[20:32] move in and the important thing is not

[20:36] to neglect that in search of a better

[20:40] collective world the two are related but

[20:47] to come to disregard is it's a mistake

[20:50] that is often made to disregard your

[20:54] personal sphere but over the world that

[20:57] is immediately accessible to you as your

[21:01] your you and your life the people in

[21:03] your life where you live all that your

[21:06] work to neglect that it's very seductive

[21:11] to think there's so much wrong with the

[21:13] world out there the collective that's

[21:16] really what I should be concerned with

[21:19] because there's so much wrong out there

[21:21] you can see it but you just have to turn

[21:24] on the you turn on some kind of device

[21:27] with its television or that brings you

[21:30] the news and the commentaries continuous

[21:36] stream and then of course that is

[21:39] already that is the collective world

[21:42] it's an entity or living room or

[21:44] wherever you are and then they get mixed

[21:47] up they can obliterate the collective

[21:51] can obliterate your personal life and

[21:54] you think of your past life is quite

[21:56] irrelevant now because what really

[21:58] matters the world needs to change it's

[22:01] so dreadful well yes the world

[22:07] needs to change and the world is

[22:10] changing because Humanity is a work in

[22:15] progress

[22:17] you Nana tea is slowly evolving fits and

[22:22] starts and regression regressive periods

[22:25] it takes a few steps forward and then a

[22:29] few steps four steps forward three steps

[22:33] back then if you move forward there's a

[22:36] gradual evolution of humanity and to

[22:42] focus only on what is going wrong within

[22:47] that process that evolutionary process

[22:49] is also very misleading because that's

[22:52] what you see when you watch the media

[22:55] and so on it focuses not on what's going

[22:58] right or what has gone right it focuses

[23:00] on what's going wrong then you give that

[23:03] more and more attention by giving

[23:05] attention to something you amplify it so

[23:08] whatever you give it now I'm not saying

[23:10] to completely ignore the world no but to

[23:14] give it an excessive amount of attention

[23:16] and only continuously think about what's

[23:19] wrong with the world then you forget

[23:21] what's right with the world and that

[23:23] then diminishes so we have the the

[23:28] external world coming into your living

[23:31] room for example through the media and

[23:34] it can be as I said you can sometimes

[23:38] believe that your personal world the

[23:42] immediate sphere of influence is Israeli

[23:45] is irrelevant but that's not the case so

[23:49] the starting point with changing the

[23:53] world is to become aware of how you

[23:55] operate in this world the starting point

[23:58] is how do you relate to the humans in

[24:02] your life how do you what is the your

[24:08] mind what is your mind doing well what

[24:10] is your predominant state of

[24:12] consciousness what are your predominant

[24:15] emotions

[24:16] what are your the predominant thoughts

[24:18] that go through your mind it's vitally

[24:21] important

[24:22] to become aware of that if you're not

[24:24] aware of what the predominant emotions

[24:27] are that the predominant thoughts are

[24:30] plus accompanying emotions that go

[24:33] through your mind you are unaware and

[24:35] the the emotions that these thoughts and

[24:39] emotions that arise continuously within

[24:42] you are a form of conditioning and so

[24:45] they take possession of you so it's

[24:49] vitally important as the starting point

[24:51] for changing the world is to become

[24:56] aware of your world

[24:58] your team how do you operate in this

[25:02] world how are your relationships is

[25:07] there a lot of antagonism is there there

[25:14] grievances and a lot of conflict are

[25:20] there many people that you hate are they

[25:22] more people that you'd like or love is

[25:25] there laughs compassion or not so much

[25:30] how do you relate to people how do you

[25:33] relate to strangers that you meet in a

[25:35] shop in store how do you mail a to

[25:38] somebody meet in an elevator

[25:40] how all these things are part of what

[25:44] you manifest as your world so it's how

[25:48] do you manage what is the predominant

[25:50] energy that you manifest in your life

[25:53] that affects other humans it is a very

[25:57] important starting point at it of course

[25:59] is expressed in the famous saying be the

[26:05] change that you want to see in this

[26:07] world

[26:09] nobody knows who actually said that some

[26:11] people say Gandhi said it we could have

[26:13] said it but he probably said something

[26:16] similar I don't think he said that

[26:18] literally but it doesn't matter it's a

[26:20] it's a it's a very important pointer the

[26:24] very important thought be the change

[26:27] that you want to see in the world

[26:29] so change starts with you and that means

[26:33] your consciousness your state of

[26:35] conscious

[26:38] what is become aware of your mind

[26:41] what is how much complaining do you do

[26:44] useless complaining not a no not a sort

[26:47] of complaining that can actually bring

[26:48] about change but useless complaining

[26:51] about Pete other people and groups of

[26:54] people and pronouncing half of humanity

[26:59] to be evil whatever it is be aware of

[27:06] your mind

[27:08] vitally important what kinds of thoughts

[27:11] are there and once you the ability to

[27:14] become aware of your mind what kinds of

[27:17] thoughts your mind is producing once it

[27:21] grows that means there's more awareness

[27:23] in you it's more presence in you another

[27:25] dimension of consciousness has arisen so

[27:28] be conscious how how do you what do you

[27:32] bring into this world on a daily basis

[27:34] do you bring more loving kindness

[27:38] compassion other humans empathy a friend

[27:46] a quiet word even to strangers to do the

[27:52] do you acknowledge every other human be

[27:55] human being that you meet even even if

[27:58] you meet them only casually do you

[28:00] acknowledge the being of that human

[28:03] beyond the inter beyond what were all

[28:06] this human play plays with in that brief

[28:08] interaction somebody sells you something

[28:11] you're asking somebody for information

[28:14] whatever it may be

[28:15] so are you do you acknowledge the

[28:18] beingness of the other if only for a few

[28:21] seconds giving it attention see that is

[28:23] beyond the personality there's something

[28:27] deeper giardia briefly up to you to you

[28:30] can you sense the the being here that

[28:33] ultimately means the sacredness of other

[28:36] of every human no matter what their

[28:39] personality displays next question is

[28:43] observe are you at the mercy of how

[28:48] other people behave

[28:50] around you do you react or are you at

[28:56] the mercy or toffs of situations or

[28:58] circumstances now what do I mean when I

[29:02] say at the mercy of it means somebody's

[29:09] angry at you somebody's the world is

[29:12] full of people who have very angry and

[29:14] frustrated yeah they may perhaps they

[29:18] are justified in being angry because

[29:20] life is difficult so one can always

[29:22] justify anger and frustration and

[29:25] grievances of course every all the on

[29:29] the conventional level often these

[29:31] things are justified but what now what

[29:33] do you you meet somebody who's angry

[29:36] says something angered you from driving

[29:38] for example somebody shouts at you what

[29:43] how do you are you aware enough not to

[29:47] be drawn into the same energy that the

[29:51] other person manifests are you able to

[29:54] simply stay clear and present not easy

[29:58] so how do you but you can only change

[30:01] the world is by not react reacting in

[30:06] the same way in which the world impinges

[30:11] upon you or treats you throughout

[30:14] through humans so you have to be more

[30:16] aware than that and so that's your the

[30:20] world change is when your state of

[30:24] consciousness is no longer determined by

[30:27] other people's state of consciousness

[30:29] that you may meet all no that's that

[30:34] really is a big change already if your

[30:37] state of mental emotional state is no

[30:41] longer determined but somebody else's

[30:45] mental emotional state that's a huge

[30:48] awakening and there because as long as

[30:51] your emotional state mental emotional

[30:54] state is determined by other somebody

[30:56] else's mental emotional state that you

[31:00] in Eastern terms it means it's a

[31:02] perpetuation

[31:03] , so there's no freedom in that so you

[31:09] can if somebody's nice to you you're

[31:12] nice to him or her okay but if summer is

[31:16] not nice to you what happens Jesus was

[31:21] talking about something similar it's

[31:23] easy to be nice to someone jesus said

[31:25] this is a big paraphrase because I don't

[31:28] remember literal passages from the Bible

[31:32] he said it's easy to be nice to others

[31:35] were nice to you but what about those

[31:36] that are not nice to you that's what

[31:38] really matters

[31:39] it doesn't mean of course if you become

[31:41] a doormat or you don't have nothing to

[31:45] do with that in fact I said great in a

[31:48] power and strengths that arises when did

[31:52] you when you're no longer continuously

[31:54] reactive that is really weakness so if

[31:59] you become angry when somebody's angry

[32:02] at you

[32:03] the ego regards this as power you have

[32:06] compensated for feeling of having been

[32:09] diminished by somebody's attack verbal

[32:13] attack of criticism the ego feels

[32:15] diminished to me sometimes it happens

[32:18] when they drive because I'm relatively

[32:19] slow most of the time and sometimes

[32:22] people shout at me and say you idiot

[32:27] okay that's and then I look at them now

[32:33] they expecting me to shout back but I

[32:36] don't do that anymore

[32:37] it's happened too often so it's too

[32:40] unpleasant I don't need it I don't feel

[32:43] diminished by somebody saying you idiot

[32:45] it's just that's his or her state of

[32:48] consciousness manifesting through words

[32:52] at the moment that's so fine and then

[32:55] they just look at them and sometimes

[32:56] they become even more disconcerted

[32:58] because there's a lack of reaction or

[33:02] they might think I'm completely deaf

[33:03] maybe I'm deaf I can't hear what they're

[33:05] saying just a little example but it's

[33:10] amazing for example how traffic it's a

[33:12] simple thing can make people unconscious

[33:15] so

[33:16] the moment they get behind the wheel

[33:18] they become reactive in unconscious and

[33:21] take everything personally

[33:26] so it can be funny it's good sometimes

[33:30] if you can laugh at the ego but if you

[33:33] want to change the world you have to

[33:37] start with yourself what what is it that

[33:39] you emanate it's not only what you

[33:41] emanate through words and actions it's

[33:47] even what you emanate energetically

[33:52] every human being if you are a little

[33:54] bit sensitive then you can sense that

[33:58] every human being has a certain energy

[34:00] emanation that's part of manifesting the

[34:03] world that you experience because so you

[34:07] see it through the lens or the veil of

[34:12] all the conditioning within you the

[34:15] mental emotional and even energetic

[34:18] conditioning within you so you can you

[34:22] meet people who are you can sense that

[34:26] they are in a state of unhappiness it's

[34:30] a generic term that could mean many

[34:32] things

[34:33] they in a state of ultimately suffering

[34:36] because even a person who is angry is

[34:38] really suffering they don't know they're

[34:40] suffering but it's an unpleasant state

[34:43] and it affects the body it it that's

[34:49] that kind of stress that anger

[34:51] represents effects the harmonious

[34:54] functioning of the body the immune

[34:56] system the heart blood circulation

[34:59] everything so it's not it's not only not

[35:02] ultimately not pleasant it's harmful

[35:06] first example to your body sample to

[35:09] other human beings

[35:10] honestly I immune and so if they are

[35:15] immune to the negative emanation from

[35:18] another human being now you can't do

[35:20] that through a vaccine that's the kind

[35:23] of immunity there that can alter that

[35:27] immunity is awareness

[35:30] presence so you're not at the mercy of

[35:34] other humans you are free you may not

[35:38] succeed every time because humans can be

[35:42] very difficult not you just other humans

[35:45] so humans can be really difficult and

[35:47] you might have noticed when you are

[35:50] interacting with humans and you have

[35:52] discussions

[35:53] another interesting fact you might

[35:54] notice that you are always right and the

[35:57] others are always wrong it's a very

[35:59] strange fact and if that's the case in

[36:03] your life you have to wonder for among

[36:05] us isn't that strange

[36:07] I'm always right wow I must be Superman

[36:11] or superwoman or you're very unconscious

[36:16] it's one or the other so self

[36:22] self-knowledge is the most difficult

[36:25] knowledge

[36:27] it's rhesus was already talking about

[36:30] that he said it's easy to see the

[36:33] Splinter that is in somebody else's eye

[36:36] and sighs look at the splint and your

[36:39] eye let me remove it for you but you

[36:42] can't see the beam it is in your own eye

[36:44] that's a huge thing is in you but use

[36:47] you see there what's wrong with the

[36:50] other that's easy and wrong means

[36:53] unconscious but to see your own patterns

[36:57] that's the challenge but if you don't

[37:00] you cannot manifest because that is the

[37:03] starting point for manifesting a better

[37:06] world and then it spreads out from there

[37:09] so the the it's throw the essence of

[37:17] what I'm saying here is become conscious

[37:20] of the fact that often you are at the

[37:29] mercy of other people or situations and

[37:32] your state of mind or your emotional

[37:36] state is completely controlled and

[37:38] reactive so it's so I mentioned

[37:43] human beings that you react to you when

[37:46] you know it's also situations you find

[37:49] yourself in a situation that is suddenly

[37:52] you're a god it is undesirable you are

[37:55] and and that is nowadays very common

[38:00] thing because many people for months

[38:03] have been trapped at home and can't

[38:06] interact with people anymore except

[38:08] through the technology so many many

[38:13] limitations have arisen in people's

[38:15] lives of collective kind millions of

[38:18] people experiencing the same limitations

[38:20] of course some are affected much are

[38:24] they much more than others but yes to

[38:28] also not just reacting to humans but

[38:31] reacting to situations that regard it is

[38:33] of limiting frustrating and so on can

[38:38] you rise above situations also and

[38:41] become free of that reactivity that for

[38:45] example the continuous complaining in

[38:47] your mind but what's wrong with the

[38:49] world

[38:50] some people continuously claim what's

[38:52] wrong with the world others complain

[38:55] more what's wrong with their life and

[39:01] that's a very seductive thing because

[39:04] the ego likes that it it inflates the

[39:09] ego if you complain about other people

[39:12] you experience an ego inflation why

[39:17] because the ego feels itself to be

[39:23] superior when it can complain about

[39:25] others it's implied you are having

[39:31] you're a judge of the other and you you

[39:35] pronounce the other as delinquent

[39:42] insufficient not good enough or bad

[39:46] wanting in the old sense of the word

[39:53] there is adaptive to experience ego

[39:56] inflation

[39:57] and all that as you awaken spirit become

[40:03] more free of this reactivity then what

[40:08] the words you speak the actions you take

[40:10] in the immediate surroundings make the

[40:13] world a better place you know you break

[40:16] the karmic chain which is

[40:19] action reaction action reaction some

[40:23] people who are who come into this world

[40:26] into very dysfunctional family

[40:28] environment and their millions of people

[40:31] who are born into a very dysfunctional

[40:33] family environment and it's a huge huge

[40:37] challenge because if you had if you're

[40:40] not given enough love or attention

[40:43] you're not encouraged as a child if that

[40:46] is missing in your early years it is a

[40:50] huge a huge burden or dysfunction that

[40:53] you carry in many cases for the rest of

[40:56] your life and in many cases you inflict

[40:59] the same thing on your children that the

[41:03] your parents have inflicted on you there

[41:05] has not been enough consciousness to

[41:07] break the pattern so these things are

[41:12] those patterns that we inherit it's only

[41:16] through waking up to becoming aware that

[41:21] these patterns can be transcended that

[41:24] is our task here and that's how you make

[41:27] the world a better place you have two

[41:29] dysfunctional patterns in your own life

[41:32] you have to look at them in trance and I

[41:35] know many people have had very

[41:37] dysfunctional upbringing and then have

[41:40] suffered enormous Lee because they were

[41:42] forced to because of their

[41:44] unconsciousness not enough awareness

[41:46] they were forced to reenact the same

[41:49] patterns that they experienced up and

[41:52] then they born so in that day you brings

[41:55] more suffering into this world are you

[41:57] bringing more suffering into this world

[41:59] or are you bringing healing into this

[42:02] world healing is not weakness healing

[42:04] his power so you have to seriously ask

[42:08] yourself next question in your world

[42:10] what do you do

[42:11] the internet when when you social media

[42:14] work what is the quality of the nature

[42:17] of your interactions with other humans

[42:19] that you most cases have never met so

[42:22] you don't need you don't and they won't

[42:24] know them as humans they are just

[42:27] abstract symbols on the screen they have

[42:31] expressed an opinion and what howdy

[42:34] would be they've expressed the opinion

[42:36] that seems to conflict with your opinion

[42:40] and suddenly this in this unconscious

[42:44] reactivity this human whom you don't

[42:48] know if never met you only know him or

[42:52] her through certain statements on

[42:54] Twitter and suddenly this you treat this

[42:59] you this human being is a some kind of

[43:02] demon it's it's happened millions of

[43:07] times is that creating a better world

[43:09] and that the the Twitter well I the

[43:15] Twitter world is showing increasing

[43:18] signs of insanity

[43:21] so it's an externalization of the human

[43:24] mind you see oh there it is they see

[43:27] it's good to it it's wonderful you can

[43:29] see it before it was all in here now you

[43:32] can actually see it on your screen

[43:34] there's the craziness of the human mind

[43:37] well that's helpful it's good to be able

[43:39] to see it it's an externalization of the

[43:44] collective mind before we invented this

[43:48] technology all humans could Jewish what

[43:51] they can shout it somebody in the street

[43:53] but you can only reach one or two or

[43:55] three people or you could swap maybe you

[43:58] could stand on the soapbox in Hyde Park

[44:00] Ron and London and give a speech but

[44:02] even then you only had a few people

[44:05] listening to you but now even the most

[44:10] unconscious person will have an audience

[44:12] he or she will in fact similarly

[44:15] unconscious people on Twitter and other

[44:20] platforms and

[44:24] so as you know one wrong tweet can

[44:28] destroy your entire career so this is

[44:35] the certain the the every age in every

[44:41] age the time period human

[44:46] unconsciousness manifests in somewhat

[44:50] different ways and it's easier when you

[44:52] look back on the past age we can see Oh

[44:55] weren't they crazy to do something like

[44:57] that

[44:57] how could humans do something like that

[44:59] it's it it's more difficult to become

[45:03] aware of the craziness in your own time

[45:06] period because you're in the middle of

[45:08] it retrospectively it's easier to see

[45:11] the craziness so you make sure to create

[45:15] a better world they do not participate

[45:17] in the craziness of this world to be

[45:21] very don't be at the mercy of others

[45:24] price your state of consciousness is

[45:26] concerned and you can only do that by

[45:29] being present more and more always

[45:32] connecting with that loudness but the

[45:35] very key word be alert so that you know

[45:40] what's going on in your mind and in your

[45:42] emotion don't repress anything just know

[45:45] and that will gradually dissolve this

[45:49] luncheon or patterns and you still feel

[45:52] drawn back in that's fine so this is the

[45:55] beginning of changing the world on your

[45:56] personal fear and then if you can then

[45:59] interact through the media various

[46:04] internet platforms you can put out

[46:08] something that is more beneficial than

[46:10] you already begin to affect a larger

[46:12] sphere you have a lot everybody has a

[46:14] sphere of influence through these

[46:16] platforms here and what is it but what

[46:21] you put out through your sphere of

[46:22] influence so there's a great opportunity

[46:25] for something that in many many cases is

[46:29] is quite insane but it is also a great

[46:33] opportunity from for actually help to

[46:37] elevate

[46:38] with human consciousness so that is your

[46:42] great opportunity no matter how you do

[46:46] it and then we come to the larger sphere

[46:51] political social institutions and so on

[46:55] how do you how do you change that

[46:57] outtie how do you diminish the suffering

[46:59] of so many humans on the planet well you

[47:04] could you continue to you no longer

[47:08] contribute to the suffering of others

[47:11] so to some extent you have to allow

[47:15] humans to evolve humanity is evolving

[47:20] the consciousness of humanity is

[47:22] evolving and it is it's vitally

[47:27] important to bring healing and

[47:30] compassion and so on to all your

[47:32] interactions whether at home online or

[47:37] wherever you go and if you want to

[47:39] participate in political discourse maybe

[47:43] want to stand to run for office

[47:45] somewhere who knows you need to be

[47:48] really conscious if you decide to do

[47:50] that

[47:51] and you may feel called upon to do that

[47:54] and then it becomes you've already in

[47:57] your own past and life you're already

[47:58] practicing not being reactive not being

[48:02] at the mercy of other people's state of

[48:05] consciousness and then you can bring

[48:06] that into the that's wider weight

[48:10] greatest fear of political structures

[48:15] and so on if that's what you choose to

[48:17] do but you also need to realize that

[48:23] humanity is as I said before is a work

[48:28] in progress so humans are slowly

[48:33] evolving into towards more consciousness

[48:37] the entire universe is in the is engaged

[48:43] in an awakening process and you are part

[48:46] of the awakening process of the universe

[48:49] you can see it on the the planet how

[48:51] great

[48:52] clearly from very simple life-form

[48:54] straddle II grew became more complex

[48:58] then they were destroyed there were many

[49:00] five was five extinctions already then

[49:04] they were destroyed and new life-forms

[49:06] arose from well where did they arise

[49:10] from from an underlying field of vast

[49:14] intelligence that that then manifests

[49:17] through with physical forms gradually

[49:20] manifests more fully gradually manifests

[49:24] in more complex life forms that have a

[49:29] great greater share of consciousness but

[49:31] it's always the one consciousness moving

[49:34] through so have compassion with humans

[49:38] a lot of the suffering that humans

[49:43] experience is created by other humans

[49:46] just read history history book and you

[49:50] see how dreadful suffering humans have

[49:54] inflicted on other humans throughout

[49:56] history 20th century alone we've now

[49:59] become very much the last few its

[50:03] present I'm very much conscious of

[50:05] racial suffering that humans have

[50:07] suffered from tremendous suffering that

[50:13] humans inflicted on other humans and

[50:16] it's great that we've become aware of it

[50:19] now instead of before just it was just

[50:24] you nobody could talk about it it was so

[50:26] not throughout history slavery wasn't

[50:30] accepted fact they nobody seemed to

[50:32] question it consciousness had not yet

[50:34] developed enough but now consciousness

[50:37] is developing and become aware of it

[50:39] it's a wonderful thing as long as the

[50:44] water rises that doesn't isn't it's they

[50:48] they sometimes the danger that even

[50:51] realizations can be hijacked by the ego

[50:54] so to speak and when you know that

[50:57] something has been hijacked by the ego

[50:59] is when you demonize others for example

[51:03] because the ego loves to demonize our

[51:06] us so be very careful with its Barry so

[51:10] that you don't you get dragged into the

[51:15] gravitational pull of the ego drags you

[51:19] back into unconsciousness we living at a

[51:25] time is very challenging but also time

[51:28] of opportunity nobody can predict right

[51:33] now whether we are going to experience a

[51:35] regression in state of consciousness but

[51:37] every regression in the evolution of

[51:39] consciousness is actually part of the

[51:41] evolution of consciousness or if we can

[51:44] go from here straight to a more

[51:46] conscious society more conscious world

[51:50] but you won't have to go through this

[51:53] evolutionary process in not every human

[51:56] is at the same stage of evolutionary if

[52:02] you have to be compassionate with people

[52:06] who are not yet evolving that could be

[52:09] your parents

[52:10] if you become compassionate with when

[52:14] you go to your you visit your parents

[52:16] and they've trapped in the same patterns

[52:19] that they were already twenty years ago

[52:21] and the same they criticize you in the

[52:24] same way they always do the and you

[52:27] realize they are trapped in there in

[52:29] their patterns and you have compassion

[52:31] and you allow humans to go through their

[52:34] patterns and even in some cases you even

[52:37] have to allow humans who insist to go

[52:42] through their own self created suffering

[52:44] you do as much as you can to help to

[52:48] bring more awareness into this world to

[52:50] bring love ultimately not not

[52:54] conventional love but the deeper the

[52:57] love that that recognizes every other

[53:01] human as inseparable from who you are so

[53:06] to recognize the other as ultimately not

[53:11] separate from you as that is true love

[53:15] love

[53:18] what that is that nothing else create

[53:23] well curry will redeem the world and

[53:25] create a better world we need humans to

[53:28] be able to access the dimension from

[53:32] which love can flow and laugh means what

[53:36] the Dalai Lama calls kindness it's the

[53:39] same thing what he really is talking

[53:40] about his love so he can tell them I

[53:44] said my read he didn't say strangely my

[53:48] religion is Buddhism the Dalai Lama said

[53:51] my religion is kindness so the is really

[53:56] pointing to the essence of what the

[54:00] trans and that kindness is manifests as

[54:09] compassion and love empathy and also

[54:18] manifests as wisdom wisdom is very

[54:24] important when we it's not just

[54:26] intelligence its wisdom is something

[54:31] deeper that sees the totality of things

[54:33] it doesn't attack one problem and but

[54:36] then create three more problems it's the

[54:39] solution to one problem creates three

[54:41] big even bigger problems that applying

[54:44] only the intellectual analysis so

[54:50] intense

[54:50] conventional intelligence wisdom sees

[54:53] the totality and then takes action on

[54:56] the basis of that

[55:02] let's see another question

[55:07] is there some type of discipline that is

[55:11] needed to be successful its conscious

[55:13] manifestation if so can you describe or

[55:17] the discipline is that is needed well

[55:23] basically I have already described the

[55:26] discipline that's needed for in your

[55:28] daily life to be able to be aware

[55:32] of yourself and of your own state of

[55:35] consciousness also an important factor

[55:41] perhaps that is implied in what we've

[55:45] been saying but it's worth pointing it

[55:48] out explicitly is the importance of what

[55:55] is conventionally called gratitude but

[56:00] there could be other words gratitude is

[56:04] a very powerful transformational tool

[56:07] and also one of the most powerful tools

[56:11] for manifesting better things in your

[56:15] life now what does that mean the

[56:19] gratitude is to to acknowledge the good

[56:23] in your life now and you be surprising

[56:30] how many people don't do that who can

[56:35] only see the bad in their life so only

[56:37] complain but it's a extremely powerful

[56:40] to acknowledge the goods that's in your

[56:43] life now now let's talk about this for a

[56:47] moment

[56:47] the this does not mean that you have a

[56:55] conceptual idea of what your life is and

[57:01] then you compare it to somebody else's

[57:04] life and you say oh really

[57:08] I should be happy because I have it so

[57:11] much better then look at these people

[57:13] they are saved they're like this voice

[57:16] and mind so I should really should be

[57:18] grateful for my life that's not it

[57:20] that's not real gratitude there let me

[57:25] yeah you're moving within the concepts

[57:28] around and your feeling of well-being is

[57:34] dependent on somebody else as less than

[57:40] you are suffering more than you so

[57:44] gratitude is not if you compare yourself

[57:46] that's a misconception very common

[57:48] misconception of gratitude is you

[57:51] compare yourself to somebody else or

[57:53] even a whole group of people so you look

[57:56] at people in the third world I really

[57:58] should be great flesh we are so much

[58:00] better off even though I may be poor but

[58:03] I'm still better off than feed so let's

[58:05] be grateful no that's not real gratitude

[58:07] you're depending on others to be worse

[58:10] off than huge but you can feel gratitude

[58:12] it's crazy it's which feeds the ego no

[58:17] karate to you it is to acknowledge the

[58:22] good that's in your life now now this

[58:25] moment okay it's not the good in your

[58:28] life situation I'm fine because I have

[58:31] achieved this or that or whatever I know

[58:34] at this moment and that's simple things

[58:38] it really comes down to simple things

[58:41] what can I be grateful for in this

[58:43] moment wow there's so much I can be

[58:48] grateful for now what is it too creamy

[58:52] to be grateful is to to acknowledge

[58:55] something to give it attention and to

[58:59] appreciate it

[59:01] I have a this you can't see but ever

[59:05] nice round table here see and it's

[59:10] lovely I touch it

[59:11] it's made of wood and it's lovely it's

[59:17] not spectacular it doesn't need to be

[59:20] spectacular but it's it has a presence

[59:23] into beingness this light coming through

[59:27] the window there and from behind me I

[59:29] often sit here I'm lucky to have have

[59:34] these trees here and I often sit here

[59:37] there's a little screen - otherwise it's

[59:41] there's too much glare but I often sit

[59:44] here and look at the trees for 10-15

[59:47] minutes and there's a continuous feeling

[59:51] of goodness because in this cold we

[59:54] could call that gratitude but it's I

[59:56] don't I don't say my mind I'm so

[59:58] grateful for these trees

[1:00:00] I simply appreciate the abundant

[1:00:03] aliveness the beingness of these trees

[1:00:08] so I acknowledged the good in this

[1:00:11] moment by appreciating the the the

[1:00:15] wonder the miracle at the of these trees

[1:00:18] it's just you can look at the sky to

[1:00:23] here today happens to be completely

[1:00:24] overcast but but very old and that's

[1:00:28] fine too because this this light

[1:00:31] filtering continue through there's more

[1:00:34] light in a way today then is when the

[1:00:36] skies blue because the light is

[1:00:39] dispersed by the cloud it's it's

[1:00:41] everywhere it's its distance from the

[1:00:44] Sun it filters through the clouds

[1:00:46] you know you appreciate that did you

[1:00:51] look at a potted plant

[1:00:54] [Music]

[1:00:55] you become you're grateful for that

[1:00:58] you're grateful for the little things

[1:01:02] you hear but you drink a glass of water

[1:01:08] I can acknowledge thing all the your

[1:01:11] breathing that's gratitude

[1:01:18] it's the gratitude is the appreciation

[1:01:21] of life that surround you so you can say

[1:01:26] the gratitude for being alive for to

[1:01:32] feel to feel that you're alive in your

[1:01:34] entire body the inner the inner body the

[1:01:38] the invisible presence that inhabits the

[1:01:41] body to feel that so all my other little

[1:01:49] things

[1:01:50] your attitude is best applied to all the

[1:01:54] small things that continuously surround

[1:01:56] you in life and then you see the

[1:01:58] goodness of it all or you can just let's

[1:02:01] say you have little or no money so and

[1:02:04] you're looking for abundance so how do

[1:02:07] you bring abundance into your life you

[1:02:09] have to discover to acknowledge the

[1:02:12] abundance that is all right

[1:02:13] everywhere around you you walk past us

[1:02:17] you go you're walking in the street and

[1:02:19] there's a flower stuff this flowers on

[1:02:22] display and potted plants outside if you

[1:02:25] live in a city an abundance of life the

[1:02:29] flowers are just amazing there's

[1:02:32] abundance and you can look everywhere

[1:02:35] and see abundant life Jesus used that

[1:02:39] term he said I want you to have abundant

[1:02:44] life in other translations he says the

[1:02:48] same term translated in a different way

[1:02:50] I want you to have the fullness of life

[1:02:53] jesus promises the fullness of life or

[1:02:58] abundant life no true abundance which

[1:03:01] many people are looking for and they

[1:03:03] think abundance is to do with having

[1:03:05] many things it could be that quite a few

[1:03:11] things come to come to you when you

[1:03:14] access the source of all abundance which

[1:03:18] of course is within you it's the feeling

[1:03:22] of the fullness of life if now once you

[1:03:27] get this feeling in the present moment

[1:03:29] then this is the perhaps the very core

[1:03:32] gratitude is to feel the aliveness of

[1:03:36] life within yourself the so when Jesus

[1:03:41] talks about the fullness of life and

[1:03:44] abundant life he's not talking about

[1:03:49] he's not it is not a prophecy of the

[1:03:53] arising of shopping malls 2,000 years

[1:03:57] later he wasn't talking about the

[1:04:00] abundance that you find when you walk

[1:04:02] through a shopping mall and say oh look

[1:04:04] oh I must have that oh I must all these

[1:04:07] things I must have that I must have that

[1:04:09] that comes from a place of lack the

[1:04:12] egoic place of lack I must feel fill up

[1:04:15] the sense of lack with this and that and

[1:04:18] that this is a kind of addictive thing

[1:04:21] if you might have noticed when you go

[1:04:23] shopping more and you feel very tired of

[1:04:25] what I do

[1:04:27] look around for 10 minutes in there ah

[1:04:29] that's enough so this Jesus wasn't

[1:04:33] talking about lots of things he's

[1:04:35] talking about the core of life the

[1:04:38] fullness that you that is inseparable

[1:04:40] from what when we started today we

[1:04:45] started with getting in touch with the

[1:04:49] the consciousness within you to realize

[1:04:53] the corner that you are conscious that

[1:04:55] in the essence of your eyes the

[1:04:57] awareness not your history the esna who

[1:05:00] you are is the awareness and the

[1:05:02] awareness of that awareness is the

[1:05:07] realization of that which is prior to

[1:05:12] all forms that can become forms but that

[1:05:17] the that which that which is prior to

[1:05:23] all manifestations is the the the

[1:05:29] unmanifested life the one will the

[1:05:31] consciousness the one life that

[1:05:33] underlies the entire universe and

[1:05:35] because you are only a microscopic

[1:05:38] version of the entire universe you can

[1:05:40] discover virtually all the secrets of

[1:05:44] the universe by going within because you

[1:05:48] are inseparable from the universe you

[1:05:51] discover the most incredible

[1:05:54] realizations not not factual things you

[1:05:57] may not know how many how many planets

[1:06:01] have life intelligent life in our galaxy

[1:06:06] nobody knows not those things but the

[1:06:10] deeper laws and movements that underlie

[1:06:15] the manifestation of the universe you

[1:06:18] can find that within yourself by going

[1:06:20] within so the abundance is the aliveness

[1:06:26] that is within you and it's the

[1:06:29] awareness of that aliveness but the

[1:06:32] awareness of that aliveness and the

[1:06:34] aliveness a single thing isn't duality

[1:06:37] arises when we talk about it then you

[1:06:40] can say

[1:06:40] I'm a way of consciousness but you're

[1:06:44] not you can't be aware of consciousness

[1:06:46] because the awareness is the

[1:06:47] consciousness the consciousness is the

[1:06:49] awareness so consciousness is becoming

[1:06:52] self-aware and what is that constant

[1:06:54] it's not yours

[1:06:55] it's the consciousness of the universe

[1:06:57] manifesting through this little form so

[1:07:02] the you are part of the awakening

[1:07:04] process of the universe

[1:07:05] so all manifestation that you do in your

[1:07:08] life must be aligned with the awakening

[1:07:13] universe in the universe is moving

[1:07:16] towards greater consciousness but where

[1:07:21] does it come from it comes from an

[1:07:23] unmanifested couldn't source of all life

[1:07:26] that is traditionally pre has been

[1:07:29] called God the source of all life

[1:07:32] emanates into this universe but it has

[1:07:35] it has no location in space or time it

[1:07:38] is beyond that but to realize that the

[1:07:43] essence of who you are is inseparable

[1:07:45] from that that is when the the ripple on

[1:07:49] the surface of the ocean suddenly

[1:07:51] realizes that it is the ocean yes it's

[1:07:55] also a ripple not for long for little

[1:07:58] while it's also the ripple but in

[1:08:00] essence the ripple is the ocean and when

[1:08:03] the river becomes aware if it's of its

[1:08:05] true nature then that means the ocean

[1:08:11] has become aware of its true nature the

[1:08:14] totality of life has become aware has

[1:08:17] woken up

[1:08:18] that is our so everything that we do in

[1:08:23] our many what we want to manifest let's

[1:08:25] make sure that it is part of the

[1:08:28] evolving consciousness so even the

[1:08:31] simplest things let's say you want to

[1:08:33] manifest a let's you're a hairdresser

[1:08:36] and now you want to manifest now that

[1:08:39] you can salons are open again okay I am

[1:08:43] going to to have a hairdressing salon

[1:08:45] okay I'm going to focus on that and I

[1:08:49] can feel that I already have it because

[1:08:52] I can feel the fullness of life already

[1:08:54] and it

[1:08:54] bringing the image of this hairdressing

[1:08:57] salon and it bring it into this sense of

[1:09:02] fullness which means you're ready

[1:09:04] feeling that it's there and whether it

[1:09:06] comes from that which is secondary now

[1:09:08] let's see you can more a very powerful

[1:09:12] manifesto if you do not depend on some

[1:09:16] future outcome you're already

[1:09:18] experiencing the fullness of life but

[1:09:20] you also know that this hairdressing

[1:09:22] salon is a place where people will when

[1:09:27] they go when they go there they not only

[1:09:28] get a good haircut or hairdo they also

[1:09:33] get your presence they also get your

[1:09:35] attention they also get the energy that

[1:09:39] you emanate there and they will feel

[1:09:41] better while the you are cutting their

[1:09:44] hair I'm just giving one example I could

[1:09:45] give thousands of examples they feel in

[1:09:48] that moment they feel you're can you

[1:09:50] listen to them we acknowledge that

[1:09:52] they're not just a client

[1:09:53] you acknowledge their beingness I always

[1:09:58] say the human being as a tutor I

[1:09:59] mentioned the human is the condition

[1:10:01] with the history the being is the

[1:10:04] unconditioned so that's the

[1:10:07] consciousness that you are that is the

[1:10:09] transcendent I mention if you don't know

[1:10:11] that your life is the most frustrating

[1:10:14] experience you might have noticed that

[1:10:16] without that realization of the deeper

[1:10:20] dimension of who you are you all you

[1:10:23] experience is one damn thing after

[1:10:24] another it's always oh my god not

[1:10:27] another thing so the hairdresser now

[1:10:32] everybody who comes into that yes

[1:10:34] they're getting a good haircut let's

[1:10:36] presume you're a good hairdresser and

[1:10:38] that's important too on the human level

[1:10:40] but they they there's something else

[1:10:44] that you provide and that is the Lavi

[1:10:48] laughs man can say to acknowledge every

[1:10:51] well the beingness of every human and

[1:10:55] perhaps some address SP after a few

[1:10:58] years become very good counselors

[1:11:01] because they've listened to so many

[1:11:02] stories and suddenly they can actually

[1:11:05] give good advice it doesn't matter

[1:11:08] what the form is that your manifestation

[1:11:10] take but make sure that it is aligned in

[1:11:13] some way with the evolving consciousness

[1:11:17] so thought so you bring something good

[1:11:20] into this world you make a contribution

[1:11:24] you bring more goodness into this world

[1:11:27] in one way or another even if you go

[1:11:30] there it is

[1:11:31] you make if you're very good at

[1:11:34] something

[1:11:36] let's you're good at sports or something

[1:11:39] and and then people love to like to

[1:11:43] watch you buy to people as something

[1:11:44] that's why do people watch the tennis

[1:11:46] match it's always the same thing they

[1:11:49] say just not that it's a ball and then

[1:11:51] it goes on for hours but it can be very

[1:11:54] vague it's by are they so excited by

[1:11:56] this well on the one hand yes they they

[1:12:00] have they have a favorite I have a favor

[1:12:02] one or the other and that gives is an

[1:12:05] egoic thing but I believe they also find

[1:12:08] it fascinating because the people are if

[1:12:12] they are masters in tennis playing they

[1:12:15] are in a state or a absolute presence

[1:12:17] where they play and somehow it's it's

[1:12:22] lovely to watch people I'm into is it

[1:12:25] field or the zone of mastery and because

[1:12:30] something almost transmits itself it

[1:12:32] doesn't mean that these tennis player

[1:12:33] are necessarily more conscious than

[1:12:35] others in the rest of their lives we

[1:12:37] don't know but bother engaged in their

[1:12:42] the activities that they have mastered

[1:12:45] absolutely there is thing you can

[1:12:49] somehow absorb a little bit of that

[1:12:51] presence it's great to watch so I

[1:12:54] occasionally watch super not very often

[1:12:56] lieutenant I can sense why people

[1:12:59] there's the two reasons why people watch

[1:13:01] it one they won't want their favorite to

[1:13:03] win but there's a deeper reason that is

[1:13:06] the there's something almost transmits

[1:13:09] itself this presence can be contagious

[1:13:12] almost and again here we come to an

[1:13:14] important point when you when you are

[1:13:17] present that also affects

[1:13:22] many many others that you come into

[1:13:24] contact with it's contagious in a

[1:13:27] positive sense it transmitted there's a

[1:13:29] transmission of presence and they can

[1:13:31] even be a transmissions of presence in

[1:13:33] some miraculous way through the screen

[1:13:36] right now Wow is that possible these are

[1:13:41] just well it's possible because the

[1:13:46] screen is in your consciousness who

[1:13:49] knows where there's actually a screen

[1:13:51] out there but the screen is something

[1:13:54] that arises in your consciousness so

[1:13:57] even there it can work so whatever it is

[1:14:04] you man if want to manifest in this life

[1:14:06] go ahead but realize the foundation for

[1:14:10] manifestation is I call it the vertical

[1:14:14] dimension it's the cross life has the

[1:14:17] two dimensions the vertical which is the

[1:14:20] present moment which is the depths of

[1:14:23] who you are in the essence of a being

[1:14:25] that is who you are in the essence of

[1:14:28] your being is already complete you don't

[1:14:32] need to become a better person in the

[1:14:34] essence of your being you just need to

[1:14:36] manifest into this horizontal world more

[1:14:40] of the essence of your being so on the

[1:14:45] deepest level this you cannot improve

[1:14:47] upon anything of who you are but on the

[1:14:51] horizontally of the two don't across the

[1:14:54] two dimensions on the horizontal they

[1:14:57] simple what you can do but it is not

[1:15:02] ultimately beneficial in the absence of

[1:15:05] the vertical but if the vertical is

[1:15:08] there then that more and more from there

[1:15:12] which is consciousness can flow into the

[1:15:16] horizontal dimension and that's how you

[1:15:20] create a better world that's is that is

[1:15:25] a miracle and that's this that is the

[1:15:27] secret and that is your task to in this

[1:15:32] what else that's the purpose of your

[1:15:35] life I mean that

[1:15:36] doesn't matter what form it takes it

[1:15:37] could be simplest things may utility be

[1:15:42] acknowledged the good that's already

[1:15:44] there and if you're not if you feel

[1:15:47] there's much more that you could do on

[1:15:50] the horse yes there probably is but in

[1:15:52] the meantime let's say you deliver we

[1:15:57] had a meal delivered yesterday to door -

[1:16:00] so they noticed there was a brief

[1:16:04] interaction I opened the door and some

[1:16:08] before they just left it at the door Co

[1:16:10] virus thing but I opened the door and

[1:16:14] for five seconds I interacted with the -

[1:16:19] I they call them the we will work for

[1:16:21] door - they bring food from restaurants

[1:16:24] in case you don't know the we interacted

[1:16:29] for there was a moment of interaction

[1:16:30] and I could sense a connectedness he he

[1:16:35] loved interacting with me for these few

[1:16:38] seconds and I loved him he wasn't a

[1:16:40] daughter shy he was them there was the

[1:16:42] being behind it and I acknowledged his

[1:16:46] being and through that he family he felt

[1:16:49] very good just looking at me it's

[1:16:51] nothing to do with me as a person at all

[1:16:53] and it was a lovely lovely encounter for

[1:16:57] a few seconds so and if your daughter

[1:17:01] sir for a while by not practice that not

[1:17:04] most many people that you deliver food

[1:17:06] to will not be probably not acknowledge

[1:17:10] your being but it doesn't mean you

[1:17:12] cannot acknowledge their being so for as

[1:17:15] long as you do that I can be even there

[1:17:18] you can bring more consciousness into

[1:17:21] this world no matter where you are what

[1:17:23] you're at instead of complaining that

[1:17:25] you really should be doing something

[1:17:27] more interesting yes perhaps you will be

[1:17:30] doing something more interesting but a

[1:17:32] starting point is acknowledge the good

[1:17:36] that's here now then you're much more

[1:17:38] likely to evolve the situation is much

[1:17:41] more likely to evolve from there but if

[1:17:44] you are in a continued state of

[1:17:46] resistance to what is now

[1:17:49] you're much more likely to be stuck for

[1:17:52] a long time if not forever as you know

[1:17:56] the famous saying goes what you resist

[1:17:58] persists which is of course very true

[1:18:02] so alignment with universal purpose

[1:18:07] universal purpose is consciousness bring

[1:18:11] more that and this consciousness

[1:18:14] manifests as an emanation of kindness

[1:18:21] love compassion a sense of deep

[1:18:25] connectedness and it also manifests as

[1:18:28] wisdom when you use your mind so that

[1:18:32] it's not just the conditioned mind its

[1:18:35] operating there's actually an awareness

[1:18:38] behind it and the conditioned mind is

[1:18:42] then inspired by the deeper

[1:18:46] consciousness that's behind it of which

[1:18:48] is it is an inseparable part it's

[1:18:51] inspired to them by the deeper core and

[1:18:54] then the mind is a lovely - or - you can

[1:18:57] create through the mind but you can only

[1:19:00] create if if you have accessed real

[1:19:03] creativity we need access to that deeper

[1:19:07] dimension that is transcendent to the

[1:19:10] mind not separate from it in again the

[1:19:13] analogy I used again is the thinking

[1:19:16] mind could be like the ripple on the

[1:19:18] surface and then there's the ocean of

[1:19:21] which sip of which the ripple is only a

[1:19:24] temporary expression it's all so that

[1:19:29] life is once you realize that then any

[1:19:33] situation is fine for the time being any

[1:19:36] situation that you're in and the more

[1:19:38] you're aligned with the present moment

[1:19:40] the more likely it is that the situation

[1:19:45] will evolve and change to reflect your

[1:19:51] growing consciousness that's a miracle

[1:19:56] of being alive and that's why you're

[1:19:58] here

[1:20:11] so the the picture is not stuck I just

[1:20:18] stopped talking just wanted to make sure

[1:20:21] you know I have probably said enough the

[1:20:30] rest is up to you many of these things I

[1:20:34] said you already knew and if you didn't

[1:20:37] know them in your conscious mind there

[1:20:39] was a kind of recognition it suddenly

[1:20:41] made you know that makes sense somehow

[1:20:47] you knew that already so the truth is

[1:20:49] always recognized it's not something new

[1:20:51] that you learn perhaps you hadn't

[1:20:53] realized it's the truth is realized

[1:20:56] recognized and then there may be others

[1:21:05] who are not yet ratified that's fine

[1:21:07] there may be some people who said oh

[1:21:10] somebody had said to a friend rep so you

[1:21:12] must listen to this guy a cat he might

[1:21:14] have something to say and then some the

[1:21:15] friend looks what the hell is he talking

[1:21:18] about so it's fine not everybody's yet

[1:21:21] ready for the next step in evolution

[1:21:25] usually it means that means they need to

[1:21:28] suffer a little bit more mostly

[1:21:31] self-created unconsciously that's also

[1:21:34] part of the evolutionary process of the

[1:21:36] universe so the the rest is up to you it

[1:21:44] is a wonderful adventure you know you

[1:21:50] don't need to seek for satisfaction on

[1:21:54] the personal level this comes as a

[1:21:56] by-product quite often satisfaction on

[1:21:59] the personal level comes on the

[1:22:01] horizontal level comes as the icing on

[1:22:04] the cake or the byproduct of something

[1:22:08] that something deeper than that

[1:22:12] something that happens through you that

[1:22:15] you don't you can't claim

[1:22:17] I did that it happens through you and

[1:22:20] then the the person the personal sense

[1:22:24] of self they might feel it oh it's it's

[1:22:28] nice to have but if it claims

[1:22:33] possessions as I did let you fall back

[1:22:36] into illusion as a separate self you you

[1:22:40] you cannot do anything it's a separate

[1:22:42] self as Jesus said I of my own set or my

[1:22:46] own self can do nothing

[1:22:48] it is the father that does it through me

[1:22:51] what's the father the Eman the

[1:22:54] consciousness that emanates from the

[1:22:56] source of all life that is called God

[1:23:07] thank you I would see you again perhaps

[1:23:15] soon but always in the present moment

[1:23:28] you

[1:23:36] you
